Homemade Christmas Cinnamon Ornaments
Here's a fun Christmas craft to do with your kids this year...cinnamon applesauce ornaments! They are so easy and smell amazing!! Also, try making our Salt Dough Ornaments too!
Ingredients:
- 1.5 cups of cinnamon
- 1 cup of applesauce
- 3 tbsp of glue
Mix the cinnamon and applesauce first, then add the glue. Roll it out ⅛ to ¼ of an inch thick. You can use a sprinkle of cinnamon if it is sticking a little.
Poke a hole with a toothpick or a straw depending on size of the ornaments and bake at 200 for about 2 hours, flipping half way through. You could also leave these to air dry a few days on the counter, flipping occasionally.
I painted some glue on and sprinkled glitter. You can use anything to decorate them that you want! String them with ribbon or embroidery thread and spray with glitter sealant if you want.
