A big part of Christmas is the cute little elves to help Santa! We took a recycled egg carton and made some elf crafts! These are for older kids because there’s quite a bit of cutting and taping to do. This is a fun art project around the holidays :)
- Egg carton
- Tan paint
- Black sharpie
- Green, red, and white paper
First start by cutting individual cups of the egg carton and painting them with a tan color. Let them dry and cut out some hats, legs, ears, and shoes. When the paint is completely dry take a black sharpie to make a smile, eyes, and the details of the ears. To make the ears we just painted on a white piece of paper and then cut it out (as well as a nose). We taped everything on except the eyes we glued. The hats fall off easy but they are fun to play with!
