After having to wrap some birthday presents this week, I realized I haven't done many tissue paper crafts! I took a paper plate and made it into a cute turkey craft that the kids can make! It's pretty easy and can be done (for the most part) by toddlers and preschoolers as well. We didn't have any orange or yellow tissue paper so I think that would be the cutest with red!
Materials Needed:
- Tissue paper
- Scissors
- Glue
- Brush
- Paper Plate
- Brown, orange, and red paper
- Black marker
Start by putting multiple colored sheets of tissue paper on top of each other and then cut out a leaf shapes.
Pour glue in a dish and have the kids take their wide paintbrush to smear glue all over the paper plate. Have them stick the tissue paper pieces on facing outwards.
Cut out a turkey shaped body and facial features with the colored paper. Glue on some cute little feet and you're done!
