We LOVE crafting with puffy paint! The texture and look is just awesome when it dries :) Today we made a little Leprechaun craft with a nice orange puffy beard. This is a fun art project for kids on St. Patrick's Day!
Materials Needed:
- White shaving cream
- Elmer's glue
- Paper
- Scissors
- Food coloring
- Black marker
- 2 Page PDF Template ($1.50 - thanks for the support!)
Cut out a Leprechaun's face with tan colored paper. Add a green hat and some white paper eyes.
Mix up some orange puffy paint by mixing equal parts of glue and shaving cream. Add in drops of yellow and red food coloring until you get a nice orange color. You can also use paint but it makes tiny bubbles in it.
Have the kids use a paintbrush and go around his head to make his beard and hair! Add a nose and smile to finish the little Leprechaun!
