Dianna Hightower created this milk jug witch for Halloween and named her "Abra C. Dabra" What a fun outdoor Halloween decoration to make on a budget! I don't know about you but my family goes through 2 milk jugs a week to upcycle!
Dianna spray painted the jug with 2 coats and painted on the face with acrylics she already had on hand. She sprayed on a clear sealer after.
Dianna got the black tablecloth and witch hat from Dollar Tree!
For her hair...cut approx 20” off the tablecloth then cut strips leaving approx 5” on one end. This will be the end to hot glue to her head. The remaining piece of the tablecloth will be used for her cape. After gluing her hair she glued on the dollar tree witch hat.
She then took a wire hanger and made it into a straight line, curled the ends into a dime size circle and covered them with duct tape. Bent the hanger in the middle to a point and unbent each side to make her arms. Used duct tape to wrap the middle point and shoved it into the opening of the jug. It was tight which is what she wanted, she added some hot glue to help it stay inside the jug.
She took the remainder of the table cloth and glued it to her lower jaw and around the spout of the jug and then draped the each side over the arms and glued it down the hanger.
She wanted her to fly so she used fishing line through the top of her hat and hung her from my front porch.
