The kids wanted to make a footprint horse and it turned out awesome! You could make this art project for learning about farm animals or just for fun!
Materials Needed:
- Brown, pink, and black paint
- Googly eye
- Glitter
Have the kids paint their whole foot with brown washable paint. Using a paintbrush, paint a neck with the brown going off the page. Take black paint to make the horse's bangs, mouth, nose, and the mane. For the trophy, put glue down and sprinkle gold glitter on top. Cut out a circle of black paper and use a metallic gold marker to make a "#1"
Once the brown paint is dry, take light pink and make a triangle inside of the horse's ear. Finish him off with a big googly eye! She added the phrase "You make my heart race!" for a Valentine's Day card idea :)
