Today I had the pleasure of doing some Valentine art with my little cousins! They made handprint love bug crafts that turned out ADORABLE! The best part is that they get to be creative in making them each look different.
Materials Needed:
- Googly Eyes
- Construction paper
- Washable paint
- Black sharpie
Start by having the kids paint their hands and pressing it on the piece of paper. The kids can either paint their thumb or leave it out of the picture.
Have them cut hearts out of the construction paper for the wings. They can decorate them however they want!
Once the paint dries, add some googly eyes, antennas, and a smile!

We used this crayola kind: http://amzn.to/1CiXis3
What kind/brand/type of washable paint did you use? Every bottle I have bought and tried so far is practically transparent when I use it.
