Toilet paper rolls are the perfect things to make stamps out of! Today we made some pretty apples hanging from an apple tree branch. It turned out really nice and it's pretty easy for kids to do for a fall activity. You can make your tree fuller by adding green around the branches as well. Thanks to SugarAunts for the amazing idea!
Materials Needed:
- Brown, red, green paint
- Paintbrush
- Toilet paper roll
- Tape
- Paper
Make two indents in an empty toilet paper roll; one on top and one on the bottom. Put two pieces of tape around it so it stays in place. Draw a tree outline coming off of the page and have them paint it with brown paint.
Have the kids dip their toilet roll into red paint and stamp it under the tree branch.
Tell them to take their paintbrush and fill in the apples with red. Finish the art project with some leaves and stems!
