I just bought a huge roll of contact paper at Target and thought it'd be perfect for making some fun Halloween sun catchers with the kiddos! You could make so many different objects...get creative! Note that kids should have an open work space when dealing with contact paper because it is SO sticky lol.
Materials Needed:
- Contact paper
- Paper
- Scissors
- Tissue paper
- Black sharpie
Start by drawing a witch hat, witch face, or a bat on a piece of construction paper. Trace the outside of the lines with pencil and cut it out leaving just an outline of the shape. Peel off the back of a piece of contact paper and have the kids stick their paper to it.
Cut colored tissue paper into tiny squares and tell them to stick them all over randomly (no glue needed!) Once the shapes are filled, take a piece of contact paper and stick it over the top to seal it. Cut closely around the paper and you're done! Add a face with black sharpie or any other details you want.
