Put parchment paper down on a cookie sheet then lay out the cookie cutters. Set aside. Spray them with pam (optional)
Start by boiling the water (I did 3 minutes in the microwave) then pour into a bowl. Stir and dissolve the 2 packets of gelatine until clear.
Add in the bird seed and stir. It should not be runny. Depending on the kind of bird seed you use, you may need to add a little extra birdseed so it's not drippy.
Spoon the mixture into the cookie cutters and pat down flat.
Take a straw and poke through the top.
Let dry for 6 hours. Tip the cookie cutters sideways to let the underside dry. Leave overnight or another 6-12 hours.
Pull out the straws (you may need to poke a hole again) then gently push it out of the cookie cutter. Add a string and hang!
