Walking Rainbow Experiment
Materials
- Water
- 2 jars or cups
- Washable markers purple, blue, green, yellow, orange, red
- Paper towel cut in half
Instructions
- Cut a paper towel in half then color the bottoms with short lines of each color. Making sure to color completely leaving no white.
- Flip it over and color the exact same colors from across just on the other end.
- Fill two jars 1/3rd full with water.
- Carefully dip JUST the tip of each end of the paper towel into the water. If it's too submerged it will bleed out and won't work.
- This takes 20-30 minutes for the full rainbow to connect.
