Today I made a sweet little gingerbread man and girl craft! It's an art project that can keep kids busy for more than 5 minutes. I recommend it for older kids that can use a stapler or you can do it with the younger ones with guidance. It's perfect for the holidays!
Materials Needed:
- 2 pieces of brown paper
- Glue
- Scissors
- Stuffing (kleenex or tissue paper)
- Stapler
- Black marker
- Tinsel Glitter
- Pom poms, bows, etc.
Start by tracing a gingerbread man/girl onto two pieces of brown paper and cut it out. I printed out this gingerbread couple coloring page to trace! Staple one side of the gingerbread man together and stuff it with kleenex or tissue paper. To not have any stuffing show, use a pointy pencil to push it back in.
Using elmer's white glue, make the frosting lines on the arms and legs then sprinkle some tinsel glitter on top! Add some bows, pom poms, a face, and more glitter! :)
