Today we decided to make some handprint angels as a Christmas craft to put on the tree! They turned out very cute and is a great keepsake to have.
Materials Needed:
- Paint
- Glitter
- 2 Googly eyes
- Glue
- Markers

Start by painting your child's hand with white paint but NOT the thumb! Have them push it against a blue paper straight. On the outside you might need to help them angle their hands to make "angel wings." Paint a circle with skin-color paint for the face. Before the paint dries, shake some silver glitter over the white hand prints. If we were to do it again, I would only put silver sparkles on the wing parts to make them stand out more.
Add some googly eyes and a face for the angel. Using glue, draw a halo above its head and shake with silver sparkles. There you have a cute handprint angel!
Here's another option for the angel...just cut her figure out and the finger parts of the middle hand. Then add whatever color hair you want with paint!
It could be a great Christmas ornament as well if you put a string through the top or just sit it in the tree (like we did!)
