This is the most popular Christmas gift idea this year for daycares and kids! Make personalized crayons with each letter of the kids name then put it in a box! So darling. The ones above were made by Allison Reneau.

(Here's Susan Ibarra's Friday night!! :)

Supplies Needed:

  • Crayons
  • Long jewelry boxes
  • Silicone Alphabet Mold Tray

"I used crayons crayons, had to peel first but used an exacto knife to slice the side open first. Chopped crayons into about ¼inch sections. Put in molds. 220° for 10 min then I pulled them out and added a little more crayon because they melt down, I always added more before completely melted so the colors didn't mix altogether to much. Then back in oven about another 10 min once completely melted I put out on the deck to harden for 10 to 15 min. Once you bring inside let it warm up a bit. They will break if you try and take them out right away. It was a very fun project. I ended up redoing all of mine because I crushed crayons first with hammer and all the colors ran together and they all looked dark brown or black. So a little bigger chunks I think is better." -Theresa McGinn
