homemade-teacher-giftAhhh, homemade teacher gifts. My absolute favorite part of being a teacher! ;) I always love to see how creative the kids can be! Here are some wonderful DIY gift ideas that you can make with your kids on a budget!

Bubble Bath Float Gift- This is an adorable idea to do! You can give your teacher a "spa" kit using cups, bubble oils, straws, and a sponge to make it look like a sundae.

Extra Gum Teacher Gift- Buy a pack of Extra gum and make your own label that says "I am excited to have an EXTRA special teacher like you this year!"

Teacher Survival Kit- Shopping at the dollar store you can put together a basket of goodies and make a "Back to School Survival Kit"

School Pencil Can- Using a soup can, you can make a beautiful flower pot gift for your teacher using pencils and cardstock paper! (pictured to the right)

Tea Gift Jar- Take a mason jar and fill it with different kinds of tea bags then make a label that says "I <3 My TEAcher" with the letters "tea" in a different color.

Crayon Wreath- This is a pretty popular gift idea for teachers...use crayons to make a pretty wreath with their name on it.

Target Giftcard Holder- If you'd like to get your teacher a Target giftcard, consider making a holder that says "Thank you for keeping me on TARGET this school year!"

Reeses Pieces Teacher Gift- Here's another mason jar gift idea where you fill it with reeses pieces and attach a label that says "Thanks for every PIECE of knowledge!"

Magnetic Clothespins- Decorate some clothespins and stick a magnet on the back. We all know teachers can never have enough clips to hang up papers!

Nail Polish Gift- Choose a pretty nail polish color and tie your own label around it that says "Teachers like you PAINT bright futures!"

Ruler Wreath- I LOVE this idea! Make a beautiful wreath out of rulers and flowers!

Starburst Teacher Gift- Fill a tumbler cup with starburst candy and make a label saying "you're the STAR of our school!" making the word "star" look the same on the wrapper.

Gumball Gift Idea- Fill any jar with different colored gumballs and make a tag that says "*Students Name* had a BALL this year, thank you!"

Flipz Pretzels Idea- Buy a bag of chocolate covered pretzels "FLIPZ" brand and make a label that says "I"m doing FLIPS  that you're my teacher!"

Smart Cookie Gift- Put some homemade cookies in a mason jar, put some colorful ribbon around the top and attach a tag saying "I'm going to be one smart cookie with you as my teacher!"

Homemade Crayon Frame- Using a box of cheap crayons you can make a cute little frame for your teacher to put on her desk!

Thanks a Latte- Buy a Starbucks frappucino bottle and make a label that says "Thanks a LATTE for all that you do"
