If you’re like me, the worst part of owning a coffee machine is the cleaning part. I DREAD the day I have to add vinegar into my keurig and have it smell just awful for 4 cycles. I even smell it after! I have finally found how to clean the keurig without having that disgusting smell. And my coffee machine is running like I just bought it! If you want to clean the regular old coffee pot machine, use 1/4 cup baking soda.
- Juice from 1 small lemon
- 2-3 tablespoons baking soda
Fill the keurig water jug half way then mix in the baking soda. Stir until COMPLETELY dissolved. Squirt in the lemon juice (be careful not to let any seeds in!) Run your keurig through 2-3 times until the water is gone. Wash out the water tub and fill with new filtered water. Ta-da! Fresh and clean again.Make sure to follow Crafty Morning on Facebook, Pinterest, and Instagram or subscribe to our Weekly Newsletter! :)
