lion craft for kids

Here's a fun lion craft made from just paper hearts! It's a super easy art project for the kids to make. Since it uses hearts you could make this for a Valentine's Day craft (boys hate the girly crafts lol).

You will need orange/yellow/black construction paper, glue, scissors, and a black marker.

Cut out a big orange heart and a smaller yellow one to fit inside it. Make sure it's upside-down and glue a small black heart on for the nose.

Go around the edges of the hearts and cut slits randomly. Cut out some chunks so that it looks like lion fur! Cute :)

Love your crafts. We have made a few of them which we plan to put online for others to view. Your very talented in paper art and your ideas are easy and pleasing in the finished effect, even if it is created by a child with no assistance from adults.
