My 3D Printer Supply Must Haves

What kind of 3D printer do you have?

First things first, I recommend getting a Bambu Labs PS2 3D printer with the filament holder. It is very beginner friendly and I am super happy with it (I have printed 70+ things in 1 month of owning it LOL!)

What is your printer sitting on?

I bought a Husky rolling toolbox that sits on my carpet. Every drawer is full of filament rolls, they fit perfectly! It comes with black foam for each drawer so nothing will move around either. If you have a wood floor I am not sure how it would be though. It does shake a bit but not bad. I also bought this pink mat which also flips over to purple color that I LOVE!

What do I need to buy right away?

Tweezer Nose – this is for prying off the extra support pieces.

Flush Cutters – this is for cutting off extra strands that you find on your projects.

Round Magnets– a lot of 3D printed projects require magnets and this kit has ALLL the sizes you need!

Super Glue – Odds are you will need glue to put in magnets and I hate buying big ones only for it to dry up right away so I bought this pack of minis!

Extra Supplies For Fidgets/Toys

Keyboard clickers– these work great for the clicky toys!

Keychain Kit– I use keychains all the time and I printed these cute mini milk crates to hold them!

Free Tools to 3D print right away:

Bed Scraper – this is for helping to get off your projects easier. Do NOT buy the metal scraper from Bambu Labs it’ll scratch the plate! (ask me how I know!)

Poop Shoot – your printer will make little balls of waste and it shoots out the side of your printer every time you change colors so I recommend printing this to catch them! (I made this shadow box to use them!!)

Auxiliary Fan Diffuser – I wish I would of done this RIGHT AWAY! It stops the warping of your projects!!

What kind of filament should I get?

There are so many kinds to choose from but for starters, I recommend PLA it’s mostly all I use! Make sure to order 4 rolls WITH the spool. You can always print your own later though!
