Today is one of my favorite activities to do with the kiddos! PUFFY PAINT! I love it because of the texture after it dries. We decided to paint a green shamrock for St. Patrick's Day! You MUST try this with your kids if you haven't before!
You will need this printable shamrock coloring sheet, elmers glue, white shaving cream, green food coloring, a paintbrush, and sprinkles (optional).
First pour some elmers glue onto a plate.
Then spray about the same amount of shaving cream onto the plate.
Mix the glue and shaving cream, then add some drops of green food coloring. Mix.
Grab a paintbrush and have the kids start filling in the shamrock shape. Tell them that it's not like regular painting...it's GOOD to have it the paint "poofy."
After they fill in the entire shamrock shape, grab some green sprinkles and shake them all over. (We actually used sprinkles from our Christmas shaker haha!)
Let it completely dry and then the fun part....TOUCH IT! It feels super cool.
