Toilet Paper Roll Squid Craft for Kids

We recently visited the zoo & loved the aquarium. Â Aquatic animals are so interesting. Â The squid were one of our favorites to see. Â They are really unique animals. Â Did you know squid have 3 hearts & swim tail first instead of head first? With just a few supplies you can make your own squid!
- Paint
- Yarn
- Toilet paper roll
- Scissors
- Hole punch
- Pencil
- Paint brush
- Googly eyes
- Card stock
- Glue
Let’s get started…
1) Paint the toilet paper roll. Punch 10 holes around the bottom & cut 2 slits (across from each other) in the top.
2) Cut ten 12″ pieces of yarn & cut a rounded triangle out of the card stock.
3) Attach the rounded triangle & yarn to the toilet paper roll.
4) Glue on the googly eyes above the yarn.
There are still close to 200 unidentified species of squid!!!
