In most elementary schools, a Thanksgiving assignment is given to children to disguise their turkeys so they won't be eaten around the holiday! I think it is such a cute concept and it's amazing what kids think of. Here is a wonderful craft idea where he turned his turkey into a baseball mitt! It works great because you can still tell that it could be big turkey feathers. Just cut the pieces out of felt and add some brown yarn for the baseball glove. Thanks to Marlee for letting me share her adorable son :-)
