Suncatchers hanging in the window always make my day! Here's a fun Easter idea...a bunny holding an Easter egg! You could customize the Easter egg with different colored tissue paper and markers to make them all different. This idea and photos came from Toddler Time Tips....follow this daycare on Facebook! <3
Supplies Needed:
- Contact paper
- Tissue paper
- Googly eyes
- Black and colored sharpies
- Scissors/Glue
- White and pink card stock paper
Start by cutting out the bunny's feet, ears, head, arms out of white paper. Glue the ears to the head. Roll out a sheet of contact paper and have the kids stick tissue paper squares (pastel colors are best!) Stick another piece of contact paper on top when they are done then cut out an Easter egg shape.
Take a colored sharpie and draw some squiggles and zig-zags on the egg. Finish off the craft by gluing the bunny pieces to the egg so it looks like he's holding it!
