Materials Needed:

  • Green pattern straws (front of the store in dollar bins)
  • Hot glue gun/ elmers glue
  • Scissors
  • White card stock paper
  • Red polka dot ribbon

Start by tracing the mason jar lid top on the white paper and cut it out. Hot glue the lid to the inside part of the mason jar top. Glue the white piece of paper inside as well.

Line up some straws and angle them to make a tree shape. Take a straight edge (I used a popsicle stick) and draw a line with pencil.

Don’t cut the angled marks on the straws just cut straight. Cut an extra little piece of straw to be the trunk of the tree. Using elmers glue or a hot glue gun, spread it all over the inside of the lid and sprinkle white or silver glitter. Once that is dry, glue on the straw christmas tree pieces.

Take a red ribbon and hot glue it together in a loop and then glue it to the back of the mason jar lid to hang up!
