Valentine Day Craft for kids~ Bee Mine!
Hi everyone! I'm Tammy from Housing A Forest! I’m absolutely thrilled to be here at Crafty Morning today sharing our super simple Bee Valentines. With Valentines Day right around the corner, our house is going a little heart crazy. There seems to a constant scattering of hearts everywhere I look. Love it! Today we are turning hearts into an adorable BUMBLE BEE perfect for Valentines Day.

My kids love creating adorable Heart Shaped Crafts. A few of our favorites include our adorable Minions, Ninja Turtles, heart shaped Emoji's and of course a variety of heart animals. Now we can add these adorable bees to the list.
You will need:
- Larger white heart
- Yellow Oval
- Black and White Paper ~ for the stripes, antennae, mouth and eyes
- Circle Punch ~ optional, but always a hit with my kids
- Glue
- Scissors
We began by cutting out one large white heart. This will act as the wings for your little bee. I am in love with book pages and try to use them often in our crafts. These little bees would look great with a set of book page wings similar to our little yarn wrapped bees and cotton ball bees. Adorable!
We then cut out a yellow oval for the body and glued it to the wings. To keep with the heart theme, we then trimmed the oval to fit the "V" of the bottom of the heart. Sounds tricky, but its really not. Simply glue the oval in place and then flip it over and trim off the excess.
Finally, its time accessorize your bee. Glue on a few black stripes, the heart antennae, oversized eyes and a cute smile. Goggly eyes would be cute too, although I am in love with our giant oversized paper eyes.Seriously, could this little guy be any cuter, or easier? Buzzzzzzz! Add a pink/red heart with a cute Valentines saying like “Bee Mine” and you all set!
