Make some pretty doily flowers for a spring craft! You could also make some homemade cards with this technique. We used miniature doilies but i'm sure big ones would look great too!

Start by painting your mini doilies with watercolors. For these ones we used purple/red watercolors, alternating rings starting from the middle. The less water you use, the more vibrant the colors will be.

Once the doilies are dry, fold them in half over and over again until you can't anymore. Take your brass fasteners and stick them through the middle of the doily and onto the white sheet of card stock paper.

Using a skinny paintbrush, make green watercolor stems. Take another doily and cut leaf shapes from it, then paint them green. Using a blow dryer helps the impatient people ;) Glue those on and you have a beautiful little garden!
