Make a 3D paper plate easter basket with your kids! It is really fun to make and can be used to put real eggs inside! I think little kids would be adorable to carry this around :)
Isn't it so cute?! This could definitely be a great Easter present for grandparents, parents, etc! Watch the video tutorial...
You will need two paper plates, a stapler, ribbon, easter grass, brown paint, glue, a paintbrush, scissors/x-acto knife and construction paper.
Start by putting the plates on top of eachother. Cut out the inside half of the plates...it is pretty difficult with a scissors for younger kids so consider using an x-acto knife for them.
Flip the plates upside down and let the kids paint them brown to make the "basket."
Once the plates are dried, put the paper plates together and staple around the whole thing.
Take a piece of ribbon and glue it to the top of the front.
Add a bow made from the ribbon, and stuff in some yellow easter grass!
Cut out three eggs using colored construction paper and glue them to the inside of the basket. We finished it off by stapling the inside of the opening to make sure no white part was showing. So cute!
