I wanted to try something unique today for an art project and it worked out perfectly! We created burlap Easter egg painting! It's SO simple to do and doesn't cost very much to make :) We bought this burlap fabric at Ace Hardware which is more spaced out than normal ones. (It's normally used for gardens)
You will need burlap material, paint, a paintbrush, construction paper, and a black marker.
Start by drawing a simple egg shape on a piece of paper, adding some zig-zag or other designs.
Cut a piece of the burlap to about the size of your egg outline.
Have kids dip their paintbrushes into paint and make dotting motions all over the fabric.
When they lift it up, it's an art masterpiece for Easter!
