If you have any plastic bottles sitting in your recycling bin, take them out! Have your kids make bottle cap chicks for an Easter craft! This is a very frugal craft to do...my favorite kind!

You will need yellow paint,a water bottle cap, a gatorade cap, orange construction paper, a googly eye, glue, and a yellow feather.

Start by painting the bottle caps with yellow paint. We used crayola washable paint and it worked great on the water bottle cap!

Cut two strips out of orange paper for the legs/feet.

Glue on a googly eye, the legs, and a yellow feather. The beak is kind of hard to attach so you might want to just glue the whole chick to a piece of paper. Obviously, this chick's paint wasn't dry when I snapped a photo :)

If you want, add some extra feathers to the body part of the chick! Cuteee!
