If you're looking for a cheap photography backdrop...this is a great idea to try! I used leftover wood in my garage and had a can of spray paint from a different project just sitting around! This wood backdrop actually turned out to be one of my favorites. It's a great background for product and flat items that you just lay on top of it. If you read until the end you can see photos that I took using it.
You will need wood boards cut into 2 foot pieces. For this project we used 7 boards but you can always use more for a bigger background.
Put the wood boards next to each other on a sheet that can get dirty!
Grab some white spray paint and coat all the boards good (I used Rust-Oleum because it was sitting in the garage).
I had to do two coats of the spray paint to get that rich white look.
Get out some wood glue and put a strip of it on each inside piece then add the clamps to hold it together. That's it! Easy as pie!
I make tons of kids crafts and here are some examples of using this wood backdrop....
Here I did some bunny crafts and just set the piece of paper on top of the wood boards.
What do you think? Would you make one?
