Today I got to spend the morning with one of my favorite little cousins and we decided to make some fish using cheerios for the scales! They turned out really cute and it was an easy activity for a 5 year old to do.
Materials Needed:
- Cheerios
- Yellow paper
- Googly eye
- Glue / Scissors
- Black Pen
Start by free-drawing or printing a fish outline on a piece of yellow paper. Add the smaller details with a black pen such as the fins, mouth, gills, etc.
Then have the the kids squirt some glue around the middle of the fish and stick on some cheerios.
Add a huge googly eye and you've got yourself an adorable little fishy!
