I had never heard of GIANT couscous (pearls) before until I stumbled upon MessyPlayMummy on Instagram who did this activity with her son! It looks so fun even I want to play in it.

Materials Needed:

  • Giant Couscous (Israeli Couscous)
  • Food coloring
  • Ziploc bags
  • Plastic tub
  • Buckets/toys

Dye the giant couscous by putting some in a ziploc bag and adding food coloring. Shake it up and let sit. You could do the colors of the rainbow! It makes a beautiful sensory bin for children to play in. Make sure they always have supervision when playing in this.
