I made chicken alfredo last night and saved a few dry penne noodles to make these pretty little dragonflies! They turned out sooo cute! This is a great spring or summer craft for kids to make.

Materials Needed:

  • Penne pasta
  • Mini popsicle sticks
  • 2 little googly eyes
  • Glue
  • Sequins
  • Paint

Start by gluing the mini popsicle stick to a piece of card stock and then the noodles. Make sure they fit flat against each other in an angle.

Once they are dry to the paper, grab some bright paints and make the wings/body beautiful! I sprinkled on some sparkly confetti (sold at craft stores) to make them shimmer! Glue on some googly eyes and a few sequins to finish them off!
