Materials Needed:
- Egg Carton
- Glue
- Paint / Paintbrush
- Googly eyes
- Red, brown, and orange paper
- Scissors
Start by cutting out little "cups" from the egg carton. The easiest way I've found is to use a kitchen knife to separate each. The corner egg cups are the best ones to use because they are the biggest! Using the top of the carton, cut out small turkey feathers (we did 5 each).
Paint the feathers with red, orange, and yellow paints. After those dry, cut out a small brown circle from regular construction paper and glue them around it.
Glue on googly eyes and cut out a beak/gobble for the turkey's face. Put a glob of glue on the brown paper circle and press it against the back. It's easiest to have the turkey lie on its back and push against it from inside the cup. Gobble!
