Today we decided to start an early Halloween project. We thought it would be fun to make a pumpkin out of toilet paper rolls! It was a very inexpensive craft for kids and also great to use recycled items! These would be great for a Halloween decoration at a party, hanging them with a string as lanterns, or just having the kids play with it. Hope you enjoy!
Materials Needed:
-Empty toilet paper roll
First you will need to cut just a little part off the toilet paper roll, this is going to be the pumpkin stem.
Wrap orange paper around the roll to measure how much you need. Cut the right size and put glue all over to make it stick.

You will want to cut about an inch thick strips to make the pumpkin sides. Put a small piece of tape on each side and attach it to the inside of the toilet paper roll. Make sure one side is "flat" against the rim of it so it can sit nicely on a table.
Cut skinnier strips out of the orange paper to fill in the gaps of the pumpkin craft.
Take that extra piece of toilet paper roll you cut off in the first step and tape it to the inside of the pumpkin.
Cut a leaf out of green construction paper and tape it next to the stem.
All done! The cutest pumpkin you'll ever see made from a toilet paper roll :)
The kids loved making this and it got them so excited for Halloween coming up!
