Elephants flap their ears to stay cool! We watched Dumbo recently & decided to add another handprint craft to our collection. Dumbo is a great way to teach your kids to accept people the way they are. In just a few easy steps you have your very own Handprint Elephant!
You will need:
- Grey & light pink card stock
- Glue
- Pencil
- Compass
- 2 large googly eyes
- Scissors
Now lets get started:
First trace bother of your child’s hands. Â Use the compass to draw a large circle for the head of the elephant. Â You will also need to draw an elephant trunk. Â Cut out all of your pieces.
Glue the circle onto the pink paper, followed by the hands (ears), & trunk.
Last think you need to do is glue on the googly eyes & you are all finished!
Adorable fact: Baby elephants suck their trucks to calm themselves!!!
