I had a ton of potatoes going bad on my counter and got this great idea to cut them into tulip shapes! This tulip craft would be great for kids to make homemade Spring or Mother's Day cards!

The fun part is that potatoes are all different sizes so you can mix the flowers up!

You will need potatoes, paint, a knife, paper, and a paintbrush!

Start by cutting your potato in half and following the steps in the pictures above to make a tulip shape.

Pour some paint onto a plate and have the kids dip their potatoes in it.

Give them a smaller paintbrush and have them draw the stem using straight lines with green paint.

Add some leaves and you've got the most beautiful tulips around! So easy :)
