Fingerprint Bat Silhouette Craft for Kids
I always love fingerprint crafts for kids to make because they have so much fun getting their hands messy! Try this awesome bat silhouette art project, it is easy and toddlers/preschoolers can do it (the painting part). It’s a fun and creative Halloween craft to make!
Materials Needed:
- Yellow, orange, and white paint
- Printable bat sheet
- Scissors
- Painters tape
First print out this free printable bat sheet or make your own cutouts. Using painters tape, roll pieces and stick them on the back of the bats. Have the kids dip their finger in paint and go around the outlines of them.
Have them continue using the other color paints to make dots all over the paper but make sure they use a lot around the edges so the bats will show up more. Carefully peel the paper bats off and you have a masterpiece for Halloween!

OMG! I love this! such a great idea. And what a nice printable. Can’t wait to try this with my kids.
Love this idea for a craft! I was looking for some activities to tie in with Stellaluna, and I’m so doing this one!
Thank you. I’m pinning and sharing with my blog community
