Gold Metal Father’s Day Gift for Kids to Make
Have your kids make this fun gold metal Father’s Day gift! It’s a frugal craft using items you probably already have at home! I always buy laughing cow cheese and I thought the container would be the perfect gift box top for a gold medal!
You could also write Happy Father’s Day at the bottom of it.
You will need blue paper, an empty laughing cow cheese container, yellow paint, a marker, a paintbrush, and butterscotch candies.
Start by cutting two strips of blue paper and cut a triangle at the bottle to make the “ribbons.” Peel off the laughing cow sticker on the top and bottom of the container and start painting it yellow. We added a dot of red/brown paint to make it more of a gold color.
Glue the ribbons to the back of the container and write “Dad, you deserve a medal” at the top! Finish it off by filling it with some yummy gold butterscotch candy. I think any dad would love to get this.
