Easy Way to Stop Thumb Sucking
So... you've tried hot sauce and cayenne pepper only for that to wash off during the day and your kid sticks their thumb back in their mouths. If you are so frustrated that nothing is working then you need to try the product Mavala. You don't want your kids to have buck teeth from thumb sucking! No, this is not sponsored by the company what-so-ever. It's the best idea ever invented to put on your child's finger while they are sleeping and it stays on for a few days! The taste is TERRIBLE and my son was cured in 2 days. TWO DAYS!! At first you have to warn your kid that their thumbs don't want to get sucked on anymore and it will give a bad taste. Trust me, after 2 tries they will not go near that thumb! It also works for nail biting as well.
TIP 1: FIRST try on an empty stomach the 1st time (just in case)
TIP 2: TRY applying only a smidgen on each finger as needed.

"So-my 5 year old son had been sucking his thumb regularly since he was born. We had tried some natural things as well as "prizes", if he didn't suck his thumb for extended periods. Finally out of desperation we turned to Amazon and found this Mavala stop product. We ordered it, and immediately opened and gave it a sniff. It smelled like nail polish, and I thought to myself, this really isn't going to work, so I put a bit on my thumb and then let it dry and sucked. It was AWFUL. Some reviewers describe it as rotten fish/acetone/etc. etc. and it is hard to describe because it was so bad. That turned my frown upside down and I know though that this magical stinky application my work for my sweet 5 year old. That same day I applied it to his thumb and warned him it would taste bad. I watched him throughout the day and he snuck his thumb in his mouth a few times only to immediately take it out and make a grimace. Update: After literally only 3 days of a couple applications, my son has stopped sucking his thumb! Another update- after 1 month- still successful- no more thumb sucking! Sure-he may need braces because of having sucked his thumb for so long, but better late than never!"-Kevin E
"This is it. The answer. Finally! We had a very, very strong stubborn 4 year old thumb sucker. We tried everything, and got in constant arguments about it. It was a terrible cycle. We had tried a polish before that he would just suck off, so I didn't have high hopes for this, and I didn't want to pay this much but finally I caved one day. When we first put it on him, we also put it on our nails to see what it was like and WOW! It tasted like nail polish remover and metal, and the taste would just stay in your mouth. It was really, really terrible. My son immediately tried wiping his tounge on everything to get the taste out. It literally only took one day and he quit sucking his thumb. The polish lasts about a week, and we made sure to reapply because we know we should be consistent for at least a month just to make sure the habit is really gone. So moral of the story, this is the answer we, and you, have been waiting for! It's worth every penny." - Zimmerman
"About 1 month ago I bought this and put it on my five and a half year olds thumb and he tasted it just one time and that was it. it worked immediately. Just knowing it was on his thumb made him keep it away from his mouth. He knew I had to reapply it every 3 days but he stopped right away and we do not put it on his thumb anymore. He allowed us to put it on for the first time because I think inside he wanted to stop sucking his thumb too since he's in kindergarten."-Carrie L
