This year we wanted to try some kool-aid Easter eggs and they turned out pretty cool! There are so many colors of kool-aid packets that you can use too.

Make sure you stir well because they need to dissolve!

Drip, drip, drip! So fun!

Next time I would add some orange to the yellow to make it brighter. Also, the grape turns out pretty dark!

Supplies Needed:

  • Kool-aid packet
  • ½ cup Water
  • Hard boiled eggs
  • Rack
  • Cookie Sheet
  • Baby spoons
  • Cups

Start by adding ½ cup water per kool-aid packet in a cup. Stir well until dissolved. Line a cookie sheet with tin foil (easier clean-up) then top it with a cooling rack. Place eggs on top and using a baby spoon, have the kids drip colors all over! They will love the fruity smells. Let dry and they're done! I think the designs turned out awesome.

Note: We used ⅔ cup water which I thought the colors weren't bright enough so less would be better!
