This year for Easter, try making a completely edible Easter basket instead of buying one from the store! Kids will be so excited to find what boxes of candy they get. You can use any type but look for Easter colored boxes such as Sprees, nerds, and gobstoppers!
- 4 boxes of candy, make sure you pick up ones that are the same size
- 1 or 2 nerd ropes
- Piece of cardboard
- Easter grass
- Glue gun
- Goodies (candy, plastic eggs, trinkets, etc. for the kids)
Hot glue all the sides together, and then trace out a cardboard square and cut it just smaller than the outside edges of the box so that it won’t show. Hot glue the edges of the cardboard and adhere it to the candy. Bend the nerd rope to the shape your like and hot glue it to the sides.
Fill it with Easter grass and any goodies you’d like! I would add some little hot wheel cars for boys or hair accessories for girls.Make sure to follow Crafty Morning on Facebook, Pinterest, and Instagram or subscribe to our Weekly Newsletter! :)
