My little 3 year old friend started painting a paper plate red and I asked her what she was making. She replied "Sebastian the Crab! from the Little Mermaid", hehe! I knew it was going to be a challenge but we were going to try! This paper plate crab turned out super cute and she played with him all afternoon. We even had to bring him to the playground!

You will need red paint, a paper plate, scissors, glue, and  2 googly eyes to make this crab.

Start by having the kids paint the whole paper plate with red paint.

After the paint is dry, have them cut out 6 legs, 2 arms/claws, a body, and antennas. The main circle body part is just the middle of the paper plate cut out first.

Glue the pinchers on and the googly eyes.

Add all the legs to the bottom of the crab.
