What ingredients are used?
Our pinecone bird feeders are made using:
- Natural pinecones
- 100% natural peanut butter (no added sugar or artificial sweeteners)
- Bird seed suitable for wild birds
No chemicals, preservatives, or artificial ingredients are used.
Is peanut butter safe for birds?
Yes. Natural peanut butter is safe for birds when used in moderation. It provides healthy fats and protein that help birds maintain energy, especially during colder months.
What types of birds will use the feeder?
Many common backyard birds enjoy pinecone feeders, including chickadees, titmice, nuthatches, woodpeckers, and some finches.
Where should I hang the feeder?
Hang the pinecone feeder from a tree branch, fence hook, or shepherd’s hook in a quiet area. Place it high enough to keep it out of reach of pets and away from areas where predators may lurk.
How long does the feeder last?
This depends on weather conditions and bird activity. In dry weather, a feeder may last several days to a week. Rain, heat, or heavy bird traffic may shorten its lifespan.
