For Easter this year, make this adorable Easter bunny pull-apart cupcake cake with your kids! It's the perfect dessert to set out for your party. All you need are 12 cupcakes to make this little guy!

Supplies:

  • 12 Cupcakes (I used a box mix)
  • The Best Buttercream Frosting
  • Gel food coloring in pink, black, and white
  • Tips 3, 18, 32

Set up your bunny shape with the cupcakes, keeping them close together, and do a "crumb coat" with the white buttercream. Fill in gaps between the cupcakes as best you can.

Use a toothpick to draw on the face and ears, and then using tip #3 and your black frosting, go over the eyes, whiskers and mouth.

Using tip number 18 make the star shapes in the ears, and fill in the nose. Use even pressure and release before pulling up your piping bag for a perfect star. Once you are happy with your face, go all around the bunny with the white frosting and tip #32.

Feel free to mix up the tips and be sure to pipe the pink and black pieces first, this way if you do not like how it looks you can easily fix it.
