These snails are bright & very colorful.  They can also be an excellent way to work on those fine motor skills with the small & large buttons.  A snail never changes it's shell, the shell grows along with them. Our shells aren't quite that interesting...but they were fun to make!

  • old CD
  • assorted colors of buttons
  • scissors
  • pencil
  • goggly eyes
  • stock paper
  • glue

Let's get started...

1) Draw & cut out the snail body.

2) Glue the buttons onto the shiny side of the CD.

3) Glue the CD onto the body.  Glue on the antennas & googly eye.
