Peacock Craft for Kids

I think these have to be my favorite craft we have made so far.  I was so excited to make them.  Got everything all set up for me & my 3 kids (plus the neighbor girl) to make them.  I told myself okay this is going to be great!  We are gonna make some memories & we are all gonna get along.  HAHAHAHAHA...within the first 5 minutes the youngest was mad at everyone at the table & decided she didn't want to make a peacock.  We survived & our peacocks turned out great.

Did you know that only the male's are Peacocks?  The females are Peahen & as a whole they are Peafowl.

  • card stock
  • glue
  • googly eyes
  • gems
  • pencil
  • scissors
  • feathers

Make your own Peacock...

Cut out the body, beak, & feet of the Peacock.

Glue the feathers onto a light background.

Attach the body onto the feathers.

Glue on the eyes, feet, beak, & eyes.

A group of Peafowl is called a "party".
