These red velvet oreo brownies are soo good! Perfect to take to all the holiday parties!
Red Velvet oreo brownies Ingredients:
Makes 1 9×13 baking dish
- 1 box red velvet cake mix
- 1 C unsalted sweet cream butter, divided and melted
- 2 eggs
- 2 packages Holiday Oreos
- 1 bag, 11.5 oz milk chocolate chips
- 1 bag 12 oz bag mini chocolate chips
- 1 C heavy whipping cream
- 1 9×13 baking dish fitted with parchment paper
Preheat oven to 350
Using a standing mixer, beat together cake mix, 1/2 cup melted butter, and 2 eggs until fully combined and smooth.
Using your hands, press into the bottom of prepared pan
Place a few oreo’s into the brownie mixture and bake for 13 minutes
Using a ziplock bag, crush 1 package of whole Oreos
Stir together with remaining 1/2 cup melted butter and mix well.
Layer the oreo mixture over the baked red velvet brownies and gently press down
Using a large mixing bowl, place the milk chocolate chips into it
Using a sauce pan, bring the heavy cream to a low boil, then pour over the chocolate chips.
Let sit for 5 minutes, then whisk together until completely smooth and thick.
Pour chocolate ganache over the oreo layer Top with mini chocolate chips.
Place in the refrigerator for 30-45 mins to allow chocolate ganache to set up.
Cut into bars and serve with a large glass of milk or coffee!
