Salt Dough Santa Ornament
Easy salt dough ornament recipe using handprints!
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup salt
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 1/2 cup warm water
- Acrylic Paint
- Ribbon
- Glitter optional
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 250 degrees F.
- Knead dough for a couple minutes. Add a tsp of water if the dough is too dry or a tsp of flour if the dough is too sticky.
- Roll out the dough flat then have the kids push their hand into the dough.
- Cut around the fingers leaving a little space inbetween. Poke a hole at the top for the string.
- Bake for 1-2 hours. Flip halfway through.
- Let air dry for a few hours then paint!
