I came across a fun idea to make for Halloween this year from Heather Woodside on Instagram! She shares her tutorial with us today!
Supplies:
- 3 Plastic pumpkin buckets
- Scissors/screw driver
- Hot glue gun
- X-Acto knife
- 2 garden stakes
- Solar lights which are about .98 cents at Walmart
Cut the handles off the pumpkins then cut an X in the bottom of the pumpkin. I used a screwdriver to poke the hole in to make running the rod through easier.
I secured the rods and solar lights with glue, I used a little sewing thread for added security but that step isn't needed.
Stick it in a pot and watch them glow at night...love it!!
Nora Nelson added her version with mums in them...
