So it's someones seventieth birthday coming up and you're stuck on what to put on their birthday cake, right? Well here I have compiled a list of my favorite ones that actually have meaning to that person instead of just writing the big "70" on a sheet cake. When you decide on what to put on it, think about that persons hobbies, interests, past memories, future comings, and things that make them happy.
The most common ideas for a person turning 70 is usually for golf, knitting, tennis, fishing, traveling, etc. but I have added some more cool ideas for you! It may look like these cakes cost a lot of money but you can actually buy your own fondant kits, frosting decorating tools, 70th birthday candles, and cake molds for cheap! 70th Birthday Teacup Cake - I think we all know that tea is a popular drink for people aging 70 so if you know a lover, definitely check this out! They made a saucer and teacup out of edible materials and added two real cookies on the side, how cute.

Holy Crap You're Old Toilet Cake - This one is hilarious! I recommend you only make this cake if the birthday person is a jokester otherwise they might find it disturbing. They shaped the whole cake into a toilet seat and put fake poop inside. On the cover they wrote "Holy crap you're old!" haha!
Sewing Machine 70th Birthday Cake - This one is great for all the sewers and seamstresses! I know my grandma can't live without her swinger sewing machine why not turn the whole cake into it? Probably one of the most unique cakes I've seen.

The Purse Lover Cake- This is great for any lady that loves her purses or has a purse addition hehe you could even replicate her real purse.

BBQ Grill Master Cake- I like this cake because the whole thing is shaped like a grill! I know lots of people in their 70s that love to BBQ so this could be perfect. They even made the tongs on the side.
SX Land Camera Birthday Cake - This is one of my favorite cakes because its of the old school cameras they used to have. You can get their picture printed like its coming out of the camera and the banner says "Oh snap it's **** Birthday!"
